EODS annual open air Shakespeare production for 2025 is "The Tempest".

The Tempest follows Prospero, the rightful Duke of Milan, who lives in exile on an island with his daughter Miranda after being overthrown by his brother Antonio. Using his magical powers, Prospero creates a storm to shipwreck Antonio and other nobles, setting events in motion to reclaim his title.

Amid plots of betrayal and comic chaos, Prospero guides the romance between Miranda and Ferdinand with help from the spirit Ariel. In the end, he forgives his enemies, restores order, and asks the audience to grant him freedom through their applause.
