One week ago I had the pleasure in grabbing a photo opportunity with the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Hugh Parker and the Mayor’s Consort, Councillor Teri Sayers-Cooper during an evening of Shakespeare at The Italian Gardens in Meads.
Through the past ten evenings with last Saturday being the final performance, The Tempest was truly a show to be seen. I have to say it was one of the best Shakespeare productions we've experienced throughout the years and some had even reported it was as good-a performance as the Globe Theatre stage if not better!
